Sam Update

Since Sam's return to a Czech Republic hospital from Hungary, the doctors have completed his operation and the specialists who has been over seeing his treatment are very happy with the progress of his recovery so far.

We will continue to post as many updates as we can and on behalf of Sam and the management team, we would like to thank everyone who has emailed and posted get well soon and birthday messages to sam on the fan club website.

Sam Update

Although not a nice way to celebrate his birthday this weekend, Sam has now been transfered by air to a Czech Republic hospital for further treatment to his injuries substained in Hungary. He is comfortable and very upbeat. In the next few days he will require surgery and once this has been completed, the doctors will assess his recovery process

Speedway Miskolc (45) vs Orzel Lodz (44 )

During the early stages of the Polish race against Speedway Miskolc, Sam was injured and taken to hospital for further assistance after on site paramedics attended to him at the track.

Sam will not be racing on Bank Holiday Monday against Ipswich but hope to be back with Peterborough as soon as possible.

A slow improvement from Sam away at Wolverhampton, but a positive one. With a solid performance from the host team, Peterborough struggled to close the gap, with only Kenneth Bjerre and Hans Andersen producing a more solid performance. With continued mechanical problems for Sam, he is looking to continue to resolve them with this team.

A defeat for Peterborough at Lakeside, but a surprisingly poor night for Sam on a track that he normally performs well in due to mechanical problems.

First win of the season for the Peterborough Panthers, however a slow start for Sam in the Elite League race against Eastbourne, but fighting performances for second place in heat 3 and 14. The next Elite League races will be at home against Belle Vue and away against Lakeside. Peterborough Panthers will be looking for a better results after their previous defeat at Lakeside.

Sam will be looking to improve on his previous performances with the Panthers and with the Czech and Polish Leagues both starting, his racing schedule is full on.
